The Manteo Redskins volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host First Flight Nighthawks to 1 in the Redskins non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Redskins now have a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Hobgood Charter for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. Manteo will play a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, First Flight drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. The Hurricanes come into the outing with a record of 2-3. Cape Hatteras lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Manteo (Manteo, NC)
