In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) volleyball team knocked off the visiting First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

The Pirates now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Northeastern for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 20. Perquimans will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
