The South Creek Cougars football team (Robersonville, NC), was ripped 52-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC)

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Northside - Pinetown trounced North Duplin (Calypso, NC), 42-18, in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southside for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 2. South Creek will meet a Seahawks team coming off a 27-20 non-league win over Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Seahawks record now stands at 2-0.
