Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Memorial improves its record to 5-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 18-2. McAllen Memorial won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Medina Valley (Castroville, TX)

The Spartans now own a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Almeta Crawford for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Cypress Lakes will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Alief Hastings (Houston, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 9-2.
