Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the victory, Memorial upgrades its record to 14-10 on the year. The Mustangs host Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX) to meet the Rams in a 6A Region III District 17 challenge on Friday, September 12. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 3-17. Cypress Ridge lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX)

Next, the Eagles meet the Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Cypress Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 9-20 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 19-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Stratford (Houston, TX).
