Georgia High School Softball - Dublin succumbs to Bleckley County
September 2, 2025: Dublin, GA 31021 In Tuesday's league test, the Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA) softball team routed the host Dublin Fighting Irish (Dublin, GA), by a margin of 13-1.
The Royals now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Academy for Classical Education for a 1A D-I Region 2 outing on Wednesday, September 3. Bleckley County will encounter a Gryphons team coming off a 18-1 league win over Southwest (Macon, GA). The Gryphons record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Dublin moves to 5-6 on the season. The Fighting irish travel to Treutlen (Soperton, GA) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 8-1. Treutlen won 10-2 in their recent non-league outing against Putnam County (Eatonton, GA)
