In Wednesday's league test, the Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) softball squad overwhelmed the host Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), by a tally of 8-3.

Next, the Bears meet the Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Palmer Ridge will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 5-2 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO).

The Thunder (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, Highlands Ranch was routed by Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO), 12-7, in a non-league outing.
