North Carolina High School Volleyball - Bandys can't hold off Alexander Central

In Wednesday's non-league match, the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), by a count of 3-2.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a Northwestern 6A/7A battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Alexander Central will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record.

The Trojans now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Iredell for a Western Foothills 4A/5A battle on Thursday, September 4. Bandys will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.
