In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Novi Wildcats.

The Black Hawks (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Marian (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, Marian achieved victory over Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canton for a Kensington Lakes - West challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Novi will meet a Cobras team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI). The Cobras record now stands at 2-8.
