Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks (Bloomfield Hills, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Novi Wildcats (Novi, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Black Hawks (27-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI). The Lakers come into the Oakland - Red test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, West Bloomfield went down by Birch Run (Birch Run, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem for a Kensington Lakes - West test on Tuesday, October 7. Novi will face a Rocks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Milan (Milan, MI). The Rocks record now stands at 10-4.
