The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) and the visiting Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA), witnessed Bryan County's football team gain a win over Savannah by a final score of 28-7.

With the win, Bryan County advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Redskins travel to Portal (Portal, GA) to encounter the Panthers in a A D2 Region 3 bout on Friday, September 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Portal lost 48-33 in their recent league bout against Jenkins County (Millen, GA)

The Bluejackets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Metter for a A D2 Region 3 bout on Friday, September 12. Savannah will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 44-14 non-league loss to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
