Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 20-6 in a league match.

The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The War Eagles enter the A D2 Region 3 match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Jenkins County thwarted Portal (Portal, GA), 48-33, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Buccaneers confront the Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 match, on Friday, September 12. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 33-3 league loss to Screven County (Sylvania, GA).
