Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the host Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), 52-12 in a league match.

The Cavaliers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV). The Raiders come into the Coalfield AA match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Liberty was routed by PikeView (Princeton, WV), 38-30, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bobcats play the Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Summers County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
