North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Gaston overwhelmed by South Point

September 9, 2025: Dallas, NC 28034

The South Point Red Raiders were victorious over the host North Gaston Wildcats volleyball team by a tally of 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Red Raiders now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Lincoln for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. South Point will play a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, North Gaston drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Crest (Shelby, NC) to play the Chargers in a Big South 5A/6A outing on Thursday, September 11. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 8-11. Crest won 3-0 in their recent league game against Huss (Gastonia, NC)
