Nebraska High School Softball - Hershey bounces Chase County
September 12, 2024: Imperial, NE 69033 The Hershey Panthers softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Chase County Longhorns to 2 in the Panthers league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now possess a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crete for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 14. Hershey will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Aurora (Aurora, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Chase County moves to 0-10 on the season. The Longhorns host Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE) to confront the Swedes in a C District battle on Saturday, September 14. The Swedes come into the battle with a record of 4-10. Gothenburg won 7-4 in their recent non-league battle against Bayard (Bayard, NE)
