The Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades to 12 in the Wolfpack non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolfpack now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Central for a D2 District 7 (8 Man) test on Friday, September 19. Elgin/Pope John will meet a Knights squad coming off a 68-6 non-league loss to Mullen (Mullen, NE). The Knights record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Chambers/Wheeler Central drops to 2-1 on the season. The Renegades travel to Twin Loup (Sargent, NE) to face the Wolves in a D2 District 6 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 19. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Twin Loup won 35-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE)
