River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] (Nanty Glo, PA), 17-0 in a league battle.

With the win, River Valley improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Homer-Center (Homer City, PA) to play the Wildcats in a Heritage battle on Friday, September 20. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Homer-Center lost 21-15 in their recent league battle against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA)
