The McCook Bison softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Highway 6 Trailblazers to 6 in the Bison non-league win on Monday.

Next, the Bison meet the Wray/Yuma Eagles (Wray, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. McCook will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 15-3 non-league loss to Valley (Gilcrest, CO).

The Trailblazers (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Ord (Ord, NE). The Chanticleers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Ord edged Hershey (Hershey, NE), 7-0, in a non-league challenge.
