In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Highway 6 Trailblazers softball team scored a tight 12-10 win over the Cozad Haymakers.

The Trailblazers (4-8) will now prepare for their match against McCook (McCook, NE). The Bison come into the non-league match with a 4-10 record. In their last match, McCook by St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE), 13-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Haymakers battle the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 16. Cozad will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Minutemen enter the game with a 1-13 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to O'Neill (O'Neill, NE).
