The Asheboro Blue Comets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host North Davidson Black Knights to 1 in the Blue Comets league victory on Tuesday.

The Blue Comets now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Randolph for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 20. Asheboro will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-6.

The Black Knights (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans enter the Mid-Piedmont 3A game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Central Davidson defeated Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 3-2, in a league game.
