The Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) volleyball tipped the host Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC), 3-2 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Asheboro upgrades its record to 11-9 on the year. The Blue Comets travel to Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 11. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 5-14. Providence Grove lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC)

The Panthers now own a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Davidson for a Mid-Piedmont 3A outing on Thursday, October 12. Ledford will play a Black Knights squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 7-11.
