Georgia High School Football - Jenkins County trounces Claxton

September 19, 2025: Millen, GA 30442

In Friday's league match, the host Jenkins County War Eagles football squad scored a decisive 49-7 triumph over the Claxton Tigers.

The War Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Gamecocks come into the A D2 Region 3 match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Screven County routed McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA), 27-0, in a league match.

Next up, the Tigers play the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 battle, on Friday, September 26. Claxton will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Redskins go into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 30-12 league loss to Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA).
