North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina Day overwhelmed by Rabun Gap-Nacoochee
January 10, 2023: Asheville, NC 28803 The Carolina Day Wildcats basketball team (Asheville, NC), was overwhelmed 82-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles (Rabun Gap, GA)
The Eagles now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ School for a NCISAA Carolinas battle on Friday, January 13. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee will battle a Greenies team coming off a 61-57 league win over Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Greenies record now stands at 20-1.
The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC). The Lions come into the NCISAA Carolinas battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Asheville Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN), 56-39, in a non-league battle.
