Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) and the host Wasco Tigers (Wasco, CA), saw Kennedy's basketball squad overcome Wasco by a tally of 58-48.

With the victory, Kennedy improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host McFarland (McFarland, CA) to confront the Cougars in a South Sequoia challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 8-8.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Chavez Titans (Delano, CA) in a South Sequoia challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Wasco will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 47-24 league win over Delano (Delano, CA).
