California High School Basketball - Helix succumbs to Grossmont

January 10, 2023: El Cajon, CA 92021

The Grossmont Foothillers topped the visiting Helix Highlanders basketball team by a final score of 54-41 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Foothillers face the Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) in a Grossmont - Hills game, on Friday, January 13. Grossmont will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Matadors enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 57-54 non-league loss to Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA).

With the defeat, Helix moves to 11-5 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA) to face the Monarchs in a Grossmont - Hills game on Friday, January 13.
