The Northwest Texans basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Rider Raiders to 32 in the Texans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Texans now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saginaw for a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 17.

The Raiders (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Rough Riders enter the 5A Region I District 5 contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Saginaw was defeated by Granbury (Granbury, TX), 50-34, in a league contest.
