The Rider Raiders basketball team (Wichita Falls, TX), was overwhelmed 53-25 in Friday's league battle with the host Northwest Texans (Justin, TX)

The Texans now possess a 21-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granbury for a 5A Region I District 5 battle on Saturday, February 4. Northwest will battle a Pirates team coming off a 58-52 league win over Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 21-10.

The Raiders (2-24) will now prepare for their battle against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Rough Riders come into the 5A Region I District 5 battle with a 16-12 record. In their last battle, Saginaw trounced Azle (Azle, TX), 58-46, in a league battle.
