The Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL) basketball knocked off the host Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), 44-36 in Wednesday's league test.

The Leopards (9-7) will now prepare for their test against South Sumter (Bushnell, FL). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, South Sumter went down by East Ridge (Clermont, FL), 50-12, in a non-league test.

The Sharks now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hudson for a 4A District 9 test on Friday, January 12. Nature Coast Tech will encounter a Cobras squad coming off a 45-41 league win over Central (Brooksville, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 4-7.
