The New Castle Hurricanes bounced the visiting Fox Chapel Foxes basketball squad by a final score of 72-41 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Hurricanes face the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 11. New Castle will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Fightin' Planets enter the outing with a 7-4 record after their 73-58 league win over Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA).
