The New Castle Hurricanes defeated the visiting North Hills Indians basketball squad by a final score of 70-59 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Woodland Hills Wolverines (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 outing, on Tuesday, December 17. New Castle will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Wolverines come into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 65-58 league loss to Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA).
