January 10, 2025: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) and the visiting Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), observed Prospect's basketball team overwhelm Wheeling by a score of 48-23.
The Knights (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Batavia was routed by Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL), 54-44, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Wheeling will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 69-61 league loss to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL).
