In Friday's league test, the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) basketball squad got by the visiting Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), by a score of 46-42.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) in a West Catholic test, on Saturday, January 11. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Monarchs come into the test with a 10-1 record after their 84-26 league win over Valley Christian (San Jose, CA).
