February 7, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94116 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) and the host St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA), observed Archbishop Mitty's basketball team overwhelm St. Ignatius College Preparatory by a score of 63-37.
The Monarchs (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Crusaders come into the West Catholic challenge with a 15-6 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Riordan trounced Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA), 65-51, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) in a West Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 65-51 league loss to Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA).
