In Saturday's league contest, the host Valley Christian Warriors basketball team scored a good 52-43 triumph over the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats.

The Warriors (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Lancers go into the West Catholic contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, Saint Francis topped Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 61-51, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) in a West Catholic contest, on Tuesday, February 4. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Fightin' Irish go into the contest with a 12-8 record after their 61-51 league loss to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA).
