In Wednesday's league outing, the BASIS Red Giants (Washington, DC) basketball squad edged the visiting Richard Wright Public Charter School Spartans (Washington, DC), by a count of 43-36.

The Red Giants (1-7) will now prepare for their outing against Capital City Public Charter School (Washington, DC). The EAGLES go into the PCSAA A outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Capital City Public Charter School held off Washington Leadership Academy (Washington, DC), 71-62, in a league outing.

The Spartans now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to E.L. Haynes for a PCSAA A outing on Thursday, January 12.
