The BASIS Red Giants (Washington, DC) basketball knocked off the visiting Richard Wright Public Charter School Spartans (Washington, DC), 54-39 in Friday's league test.

The Red Giants (2-12) will now prepare for their test against SEED DC (Washington, DC). The go into the PCSAA A test with a 20-3 record. In their last test, SEED DC notched a victory over Washington Leadership Academy (Washington, DC), 64-46, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Capital City Public Charter School for a PCSAA A test on Tuesday, January 31.
