Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Park can't hold off Geneva
January 11, 2023: Roselle, IL 60172 The Lake Park Lancers basketball team (Roselle, IL), was nudged 53-49 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL)
The Vikings now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belvidere North for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Geneva will battle a Blue Thunder team coming off a 72-54 league loss to Rockford East (Rockford, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 7-13.
The Lancers (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league battle with a 11-5 record.
