February 8, 2023: St. Charles, IL 60174 In Wednesday's league outing, the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), by a count of 50-43.
The Fighting Saints (12-15) will now prepare for their outing against Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Bulldogs go into the DuKane outing with a 14-14 record. In their last outing, Batavia held off Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL), 47-43, in a league outing.
The Vikings now hold a 22-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wheaton North for a DuKane outing on Friday, February 10. Geneva will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 54-51 league win over Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 12-15.
