Illinois High School Basketball - St. Charles East nudges Batavia
January 7, 2023: St. Charles, IL 60174 St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL), 59-58 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Charles East upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Fighting Saints host Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to clash with the Falcons in a DuKane bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Wheaton North won 69-50 in their recent non-league bout against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) in a DuKane bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Batavia will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The North Stars go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 43-38 league loss to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL).
