The Globe Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Miami Vandals to 37 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Payson for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Globe will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 66-51 league loss to Snowflake (Snowflake, AZ). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-13.

The Vandals (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against San Tan Charter (Gilbert, AZ). The Roadrunners enter the 2A Valley contest with a 18-2 record. In their last contest, San Tan Charter triumphed over Gilbert Classical Academy (Gilbert, AZ), 80-48, in a league contest.
