New Jersey High School Basketball - Manasquan holds off St. John-Vianney
January 11, 2024: Holmdel, NJ 07733 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Manasquan Warriors (Manasquan, NJ) and the host St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ), saw Manasquan's basketball squad hold off St. John-Vianney by a tally of 46-40.
With the victory, Manasquan improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Raritan (Hazlet, NJ) to confront the Rockets in a Shore A - Central challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Raritan lost 54-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ)
Next up, the Lancers confront the Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. St. John-Vianney will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 61-43 non-league win over Middletown South (Middletown, NJ).
