Maine High School Basketball - Hermon holds off Presque Isle

The Hermon Hawks basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Presque Isle Wildcats to 43 in the Hawks league triumph on Saturday.

The Hawks now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ellsworth for a B North game on Wednesday, January 15. Hermon will confront a Eagles team coming off a 71-31 league win over Houlton (Houlton, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Presque Isle falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Old Town (Old Town, ME) to confront the Coyotes in a B North game on Saturday, January 18. The Coyotes go into the game with a record of 7-5.
