Maryland High School Basketball - Our Lady of Mount Carmel knocks off Poly
January 11, 2025: Baltimore, MD 21209 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD) and the host Poly Engineers (Baltimore, MD), observed Our Lady of Mount Carmel's basketball team overcome Poly by a margin of 45-34.
The Cougars (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mercy (Baltimore, MD). The Magic come into the IAAM A challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Mercy defeated St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD), 52-49, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Engineers battle the Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs (Baltimore, MD) in a Baltimore City challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Poly will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 63-27 league win over Green Street Academy (Baltimore, MD).
