Illinois High School Basketball - Grace Christian Academy topped by Illinois Lutheran

The Illinois Lutheran Chargers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Grace Christian Academy Crusaders to 46 in the Chargers league victory on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Unity Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Illinois Lutheran will battle a Phoenix team coming off a 66-29 non-league win over Hinsdale Adventist Academy (Hinsdale, IL). The Phoenix record now stands at 4-2.

The Crusaders (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Portage Christian (Portage, IN). The come into the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Portage Christian dropped by Hammond Academy of Science & Tech (Hammond, IN), 83-79, in a league contest.
