Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Illinois Lutheran Chargers (Crete, IL), 58-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grant Park upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Dragons travel to Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Reed-Custer won 61-52 in their recent league bout against Lisle (Lisle, IL)

Next up, the Chargers play the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders (Kankakee, IL) in a River Valley bout, on Friday, January 27. Illinois Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 2-15 record after their 59-37 non-league loss to Unity Christian Academy (South Holland, IL).
