Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Founders Academy Centurions (Las Vegas, NV), 54-7 in a league bout.

With the win, Laughlin upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Cougars host Lincoln County (Panaca, NV) to play the Lynx in a 2A Southern bout on Saturday, January 14. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Lincoln County lost 59-14 in their recent league bout against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Centurions play the The Meadows School Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV) in a 2A Southern bout, on Friday, January 13. Founders Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 60-22 league win over Laughlin (Laughlin, NV).
