Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northwestern overwhelms Girard

January 12, 2023: Albion, PA 16401

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA) and the visiting Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA), saw Northwestern's basketball squad wallop Girard by a count of 45-19.

With the victory, Northwestern upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to General McLane (Edinboro, PA) to play the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. General McLane lost 48-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Union City Bears (Union City, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Girard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 46-40 league win over Youngsville (Youngsville, PA).
