In Thursday's non-league outing, the Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA) basketball squad edged the host Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), by a count of 36-30.

The Bobcats (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Titusville (Titusville, PA). The Rockets go into the non-league outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Titusville was tipped by Oil City (Oil City, PA), 60-31, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now hold a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Iroquois for a District 10 Region 3 outing on Monday, January 23. Northwestern will clash with a Braves squad coming off a 22-21 league win over Girard (Girard, PA). The Braves record now stands at 4-7.
