Ohio High School Basketball - Aiken nudges Taft

January 12, 2024: Cincinnati, OH 45214

Aiken Falcons (Cincinnati, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Taft Senators (Cincinnati, OH), 79-73 in a league bout.

With the win, Aiken upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Ross (Hamilton, OH) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Ross lost 68-67 in their recent league bout against Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH)

Next up, the Senators clash with the Meadowdale Lions (Dayton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 61-52 league win over Thurgood Marshall (Dayton, OH).
