The Taft Senators (Cincinnati, OH) basketball nipped the host Woodward Bulldogs (Cincinnati, OH), 66-65 in Friday's league test.

The Senators (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Western Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Mustangs go into the Cincinnati Metro test with a 3-0 record.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Trotwood-Madison for a non-league test on Saturday, December 9. Woodward will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 61-41 non-league win over Chaminade Julienne Catholic (Dayton, OH). The Rams record now stands at 2-0.
